Riots In Greece Continue. We Are Witnessing An Attempted Left-Wing Coup

Riots In Greece Continue. We Are Witnessing An Attempted Left Wing Coup What is happening in Greece is remarkable and disgraceful at the same time. Left-wing political parties and the trade unions are fuelling violence on the streets with their provocative statements and demands for the government to stand down. It is, in effect, an attempt by the Left to stage a coup against the centre-Right government, using hundreds of thugs, who take part in street disturbances and running battles with the police in Greek towns and cities.

If I would have been advising the Greek Prime Minister, Konstandinos Karamanlis, I would have suggested to him to give an ultimatum to the opposition Socialist party PASOK and the communists to stop inflaming the situation or risk being arrested for inciting violence, and even sent to jail.

These thugs – and Greek Socialists and communists have always been thuggish and arrogant throughout history – should be dealt with immediately and forced to stop their provocations. And as for the trade unions, who are blatantly milking this crisis for all its worth, I think that they should be fined millions of their beloved euros for staging walk-outs and strikes at a time when law and order have collapsed in the country completely. Don’t forget, leaders of the trade unions play a very subversive role in Greece, just like in many other countries, and they are now openly colluding with the Left to create even more anarchy and disorder in the country.

It is interesting, by the way, that the EU has not even voiced its concerns with the left-wing putsch taking place in Greece. Brussels, I suspect, would love to see a Socialist government emerge in Greece, as it would be very supportive of further integration in Europe and would gladly surrender more of its powers to Brussels. This is how these unelected creeps in Brussels behave when they see a chance for promoting their ‘United States of Europe’ project even further. They are obviously prepared to tolerate anarchy and dissent in a member country in order to get more allies installed in Europe.

The mere fact that the tragic death of the teenage boy, Andreas Grigopoulos, on Saturday night in one of the districts of Athens during a confrontation with the police is used by the Left to undermine the current government is outrageous. Imagine for a second what would have happened if the Socialists were in power in Greece and the centre-Right parties would have called for the government to step down in the face of disturbances caused by small groups of militants. There would have been an uproar across Europe. The EU would have called on everyone in Greece to show restraint. All sorts of international mediators would have offered their services to restore calm in the country. The two grinning lowlifes might have even dashed to Greece to mediate.

The fact of the matter is that Grigopoulos was either taking part in an attack on a police patrol car on Saturday evening or was at the wrong place at the wrong time, as his relatives claim. But in any case he was in the vicinity of a violent incident, involving hoodlums throwing stones and bottles at a police car. It would be preposterous to think that the two cops, who had left their vehicles and confronted the youths, would have killed anyone on purpose. This is simply left-wing propaganda designed to inflame the situation even further.

And one more thing comes from this crisis loud and clear: the so-called ‘protester’, who loot shops, burn cars and inflict damage on private property, don’t give a damn about the death of some youth. These are thugs, who simply need any excuse to cause mayhem and chaos and make a quick buck along the way by robbing people. These thugs are the same in any country, be it France, Britain, Germany or the US. They are quick to use any incident to their advantage while pretending to be ‘angry’ about something. And when they hear politicians supporting them they get even more aggressive and violent.

The socialist PASOK has been provoking unrest from the first moments of the disturbances that had started on Sunday and continued for three days now. And its decision to hold a ‘peaceful vigil’ in memory of the dead teenager could only be classified as a provocation. It would be a good idea to look through the documents in the archives of the former KGB to trace some of the names of the Greek left-wing politicians, who were so eagerly cooperating with the Soviet regime and even provided useful information to the Soviet intelligence. It would also be interesting to find out how much money the Greek communists got from the secret funds of the Soviet Communist party, passed through KGB channels.

This sort of information just might restraint some of the current lot from attempting to seize power through a creeping left-wing coup.

“The mere fact that the tragic death of the teenage boy, Andreas Grigopoulos”
    It is Alexis Grigoropoulos

Your whole post sucks terribly. You have no idea about Greece and Greeks. The protesters were mainly anarchists and NOT left wingers. You are terrible stupid. Good luck with your misleading post.
