Give Women Proper Shoes. Now!Adam Lovejoy writes: It is a disgrace, an absolute disgrace! Hard working and non working women of all ages are not able to buy themselves proper shoes. I have been informed, on good authority, that in the 21st century Britain it is practically impossible to buy comfortable women’s shoes for casual wear that fit well and look good.It is enough to start a revolution. A war, a nuclear conflict. Women of all ages are denied their crucial human right to buy and, most importantly, wear good shoes. Call the police, the army, the navy with its Trident submarines. Call the Royal guards, the MI5 and MI6. It is a disaster of biblical proportions!

Several women have told me that they are in total despair. They have spent weeks and months, trying to find shoes that would fit them properly and would not look like men’s shoes, or would not have 15 inch heels or would not be flats, as they called them, with no soles at all. They have been searching everywhere, but all in vain. They have been offered shoes in shops that would be perfect for prostitutes in Amsterdam or members of the Chinese armed forces, but they have not, I repeat, HAVE NOT, been able to find anything that was even close to acceptable. Some stores even suggested to them that they buy men’s shoes of smaller sizes, for casual wear. Or trainers.

Imagine: women offered to buy men’s shoes and trainers! What next, women’s after shaves and knuckle dusters?

Some of the so-called ‘party shoes’, I was told, look so unfit to wear that only Victoria Beckham, who walks fifty yards from the entrance of her house, or some other place, to the car, to show off her stilettos, can wear. Anything beyond ten minutes wearing these monsters, I was assured, would damage the feet irreparably. And flats that Carla Bruni wears, so that her hunk of a husband does not look like a midget beside her, are, as I am told, not good for walking.

So there is no choice. None at all.

And all the females, who have complained to me about the scandalous quality of women’s shoes, have found that most of the shoes were made either in China, or Vietnam, or India, or Rumania and Bulgaria – the five countries that have never been known for producing good footwear. Or anything else, for that matter. All the five countries are based on slave labour (I’m sorry, but Rumania and Bulgaria still have elements of slave labour). How can you expect them to produce good quality women’s shoes? They just can’t.

Now, first I blame women’s shoe designers, those people who live on some other planet and do nothing else but cause harm to women. They should be forced to wear high heels themselves, men included, and see how they like it. They are Nazis of fashion. How can they sleep at night, knowing the damage they cause, I have no idea. I suspect that they have conspired to destroy women’s feet. Creeps.

But designers are not the only culprits here. There are also the producers, the companies that actually make women’s shoes. It appears that they give no thought to how these shoes look and whether it is possible to actually wear them. The leather is of bad quality, the stitching is primitive, going on barbaric, and the colours are simply unacceptable. Women are forced to wear shoes in shades of red that make the flag of Communist China look great. Not to mention that young women are forced into believing that white shoes are actually fit for any occasion as casual wear. And what about poisonous yellow? How does that make people feel when they see a woman in screaming ‘fuck me’ yellow shoes?

But there are even worse things happening. Supposed ‘experts’ now claim that wearing high heel shoes is good for you. Imagine, some so-called medics now claim that wearing high heels for long periods of time allow to exercise the feet and legs. This is paramount to saying that eating junk food makes you healthier or taking illegal drugs does wonders for your brain.

Disgrace. Absolute disgrace!

I repeat: wearing good quality shoes that look and feel good is a basic human right. When designers and producers deny women this right, they are committing an offence. They should all be punished for that. Severely.

Women of the world, rebel! Demand good quality shoes!

    gosh, shoes problems are so ‘90. nobody gives a f about the shoes now, unless they are eco friendly.

    I know where to look so don’t have a problem finding gorgeous comfortable shoes. Of course, I have to re-mortgage my house to be able to afford them.

    Whenever one visits a shoe store, one is always in a fix whether to opt for comfort or looks. It is almost impossible to find both.
