Imagining If There Were Right-Wing Comedians In Mainstream Entertainment

Imagining a non-PC comedy gig Dan Majestic writes from New York: How come there are no right-wing comedians in mainstream entertainment?

Comedy all across the world has been hijacked by lefties who peddle all that politically correct crap of theirs that can’t be funny by definition: once you stop offending large groups of people and avoid lots of ‘hot’ subjects, you’re bound to start compensating it by plugging filth and telling toilet jokes – and, as a result, it all just falls apart. Not to mention that substitute for humour, observational comedy, that modern leftie funny men seem to love so much, picking subjects at random from daily life that are of no interest to anyone really. It’s always very PC, this observational comedy stuff, and the whole controversy usually centres on repeating the F-word a lot and talking total bollocks in silly voices.

What about right-wing comedy, where is it? Especially considering that conservative-minded people make up the vast majority in the world. In America conservatives outnumber lefties by at least two to one, if not more, and yet the whole mainstream comedy scene is left-wing and even loony left. There’s not a single mainstream comedian in the whole of the US who could beat his breast and say: yep, I’m on the right alright. I’m a conservative and proud of it. Even the Fox channel which is supposedly run by staunch right-wingers peddles the most abysmal left-wing comedies.

But imagine for a moment if we  started  having right-wingers popping up on the big comedy circuit. Now that would be really entertaining. These guys would be telling things that people now only talk about in the privacy of their homes or when visiting watering holes with their buddies. And the first target of the right-wing funny men would be President Barack Obama, obviously, who, let’s face it, did screw up a lot of things during his years in office and broke a lot of his promises. And this obsession with racism and discrimination would be mocked and ridiculed as well, because it has really gotten out of hand. I’m not saying that racism does not exist in America but unfortunately the way it is presented it’s all about the white people hating others, mostly blacks and Hispanics. The only problem is that racism is a two-way street and some of the representatives of minorities that have grown to be quite numerous in numbers in recent years have a thing about the whites as well. Not to mention that all this positive discrimination doesn’t really help to build racial harmony, now does it? Any discrimination is bad, be it positive or negative.

So I suppose the right-wing funny men would be having a go at the white liberal trash, who actually encourage the minorities to complain about racism at every given opportunity, pointing out that maybe, just maybe, these folks who stir up trouble between different races are probably the biggest racists themselves and use race issues for their own mean purposes.

And right-wing comedians would be having a go at bankers in a big way, make no mistake about it. Left-wing comedians are very careful about upsetting the money men because although they pretend to be critical of wealth and privilege they jump at every opportunity to become rich and have all sorts of benefits of fame, including getting advertising deals and big corporation sponsorships. I’m not implying here right-wing funny men would not like to earn some cash as well, but they would not be selling themselves to the biggest bidder with such ease as lefties tend to do.

And then of course right-wing comedians would have a go at left-wing politicians who are considered sacred by the current comedy lot. That weasel Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary would be getting the slack a lot, and quite rightly, and Jesse Jackson would have a tough time as well, and many other progressives. And that wasps’ nest of left-wing idiocy, Hollywood, would get a serious kicking, for the crap it makes, and the mediocrities who inhabit it would be having red faces a lot, for their abysmal acting and pathetic ‘hell-raising’ life styles. Saturday Night Live, that leftie amateurish TV show that is to comedy what syphilis is to a loving relationship would get ridiculed as well, just like the Daily Show with Jon Stewart who is not really all that great when it comes to political satire.

Sports that the left love so much would have a tough time as well from right-wingers on the comedy circuit, as it has become like a religion these days, with billions made out of the stupidity of so many people who pay extortionate prices for tickets and all that useless memorabilia. And the pop music world would be having a tough time too, because all these so-called pop stars are just pathetic and when they start getting involved in politics and social issues, boy oh boy do they sound stupid.

Silly cults that have nothing to do with religion but pretend to be all about god will definitely have a tough time from the right-wing comedians. This has become really absurd when people in the public eye can actually boast about their membership of loony cults and get away with it. It’s just not normal, but leftie comedians never touch cults because they have lots of respect for them as they undermine proper faiths.

So any way you look at it, it would be good to have right-wing comedians. To balance things and keep some nasty characters on their toes.

The only problem is right wing conservatives have no sense of humor and in America, we call them Rednecks, they aren’t very funny at all, see Bluecollar Tour…
