Awarding The Nobel Peace Prize To The EU Is Like Giving The Chinese Communists A Medal For Compassionate Politics

A farce in OsloAnton Goryunov reports from Oslo: You can’t really make it up, can you? The European Union’s unelected bureaucrats have had the nerve to show up at the Norwegian capital yesterday, to collect the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the EU, as if it all made perfect sense. And that weird-looking man, Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, even assured everyone that the euro, the single currency that has failed abysmally to provide the EU with stability, was the strongest symbol of unity of the falling deck of cards that is the EU. ‘We will stand by it,’ he said.

Of course you will, Jose, of course you will. If it goes, your powers and those of your comrades will diminish in no time, you unelected PC freak.

Just to remind some of you out there that the Nobel Prize Committee, which long ago lost most of its cred, has awarded the EU the Nobel Peace Prize for supposedly turning Europe from a continent of war to a continent of peace. That is some sick and twisted logic, isn’t it? Maybe someone should tell the deranged politically correct members of the Nobel Committee that in the last 18 years not a single budget that the EU had submitted has been signed off by the auditors. That probably best sums up the monstrous creation of politicians and money men which has nothing to do with fairness, transparency or pretty much anything that is worthwhile and decent. It is a corrupt hideous pan-European institution that has been built on lies from day one. In fact, if ever another war breaks out in Europe the EU would be instrumental in it, having caused so much unnecessary hardships for millions of people while bailing out the banks.

But how do you like that Thorbjoern Jagland, the Norwegian Nobel Committee top dog, saying at the ceremony that no one thought that the EU was perfect. Perfect? It’s a bloody disaster! Mind you, Mr Jagland was in charge of the committee when it gave the peace prize to President Barack Obama when he was only into the fourth week of his presidency. That is the man who has sent more drones into Pakistan and Afghanistan than the warmonger George Bush. It is really embarrassing that this EU functionary – yes, good old Thorbjoern is smack in the middle of it, holding the post of Secretary General of the Council of Europe – actually decided to award himself and his comrades for their great work. This fact alone should make the prize given to the EU considered a joke. Not to mention that giving the Nobel peace Prize to the EU is like awarding the Chinese Communist Party with a medal for compassionate politics. EU - unelected

Apart from Barroso other EU bigwigs were here as well, including Herman Van Rompuy, who goes under the title of President of the European Council, and European parliament President, Martin Schulz. Did any of them see the irony of the situation? Nope, they did not. They actually thought it was a jolly good idea, the creeps.

Make no mistake: the whole concept of United Europe is a left-wing loony concept that is based on the assumption that federal entities controlled by unelected officials work better than national institutions. Mind you, every bloody top bureaucrat in Brussels is a leftie so this sort of thinking comes to them naturally. You don’t need to take my word for it, just check out their CVs.

It was a farce, that award ceremony in Oslo. The Nobel Peace Prize has passed its sell-by date. About two decades ago.

I expect the Labour Party & the Muslim Brotherhoods UK franchise ie. the Respect party are licking their lips & salivating over the irreversable success of Labours policy of destroying England as a prosperous, civilised Judaeo-Christian society & reducing it to the status of a 3rd world pauper nation, doomed to the eternal slavery of the failed economics of the EUSSR & ensuring that the future belongs to Islam in the West & Middle East and to Communist China in the far east.

Even though I absolutely agree with the article and know very well that Jagland is a complete moron, the Council of Europe and the European Union is two different things, not to be mixed up.

My guess is that next time, Jagland will award the Peace Prize to the Nobel Comittee.
