Well, the coalition government in Britain is singing it all the time now, as in: ‘We didn’t start the fire/It was Labour’s doing… and so on. And I say to this: OK.OK, so Labour started the fire by screwing the economy, but how come you’re pouring oil on it instead of water, people? It’ all very fine for the coallies, as the coalition members are known among the connoisseurs of politics, to brag on about how bad the situation was in the economy when they came to power - in their strange sort of way, without actually winning the election - but it’s a completely different thing when they use this mess to create an even bigger one.
