Thomas Mathew writes: On the Richter scale of political correctness, if such a scale would have existed, the shockwave of PC in Britain over this week would have measured somewhere around 11.Scores of people came out against the leader of the far-right British National Party, Nick Griffin, who had appeared on BBC’s Question Time programme on Thursday, to register their revulsion with his racist and homophobic views. All the British newspapers have been running the Griffin story for days, repeating each other and condemning and ridiculing and mocking the BNP. Some people were criticising the BBC itself for allowing Griffin to come to the show at all.
